But while passion for hip hop dance is everywhere, access to quality training is not.
Some cities have thriving dance communities, experienced teachers, and regular classes. Others have talented and motivated dancers but few opportunities to learn, develop, and grow.
The problem
Today, many aspiring dancers turn to tutorials on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram to learn.
While these platforms are great for inspiration, they rarely provide a clear learning path.
Without structure in dance training, progress feels slow, confidence drops, and many people give up before they experience the joy of dancing.
The problem isn't a lack of potential. The problem is that quality hip hop dance education is often difficult to access.
That's why we built MyGrooveGuide.

MyGrooveGuide was created to make structured hip hop dance education accessible to anyone, anywhere.
Our mission is to make quality hip hop dance education accessible to aspiring dancers everywhere, helping them build strong foundations, develop confidence, and reach their full potential regardless of where they live.
About us
MyGrooveGuide was co-founded by B-Boy Stepper of the famous breaking dance crew ‘The Ruggeds’.
After years of competing, teaching, and traveling internationally, we saw both the power of
hip hop dance culture and the barriers many dancers face when trying to access quality dance training.
Our goal is simple: to make quality hip hop dance training accessible for aspiring dancers all over the world.
