About MyGrooveGuide
MyGrooveGuide is an online dance class platform dedicated to connecting and inspiring the urban dance community. We are passionate about dance, culture, and building meaningful online and offline connections. We’re looking for a creative and motivated Community & Social Media Intern who wants to help us grow our community and strengthen our presence across social media platforms.
What you’ll do
As our Community & Social Media Intern, you will:
- Grow and engage our Discord community for passionate dancers around the world
- Support our Social Media Manager with creative content ideas and execution.
- Edit and publish short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube
- Brainstorm and contribute to creative campaigns that highlight urban dance culture.
- Monitor community feedback and engagement to continuously improve.
What you bring
- Ability to understand and speak the English language (written + verbal)
- A genuine passion for hiphop/ urban dance and its culture
- Experience with social media video editing tools (Capcut, Premiere etc)
- Basic knowledge or background in marketing & social media
- Creativity, proactiveness, and the ability to work independently.
- Bonus: Experience with managing or moderating online communities (Discord)
- The availability for a physical meeting in Amsterdam twice per month.
